Julian Stevens, Business Development Manager

Having started in the wine trade over 20 years ago in New Zealand Julian has worked continuously in the industry ever since. Initially in retail but has also done stints in trade sales, winebars, vineyard and cellar work and originally started his time with BBR at the Heathrow Airport shops-soon moving on to four years in the Flagship St. James's shop. Having travelled extensively during that time visiting vineyards from Margaux to Margaret River and Sussex to Sardinia. He enjoys sampling wines from the classic regions but equally relishes the opportunity to discover new and stimulating wines from less heralded climes. Here in Tokyo he hopes to help broaden the BBR awareness through education but also to support the sales team he is always willing to participate in events which will generate enthusiasm for good wine, whether tastings, dinners or wine school classes.
