We're pleased to announce that we'll welcome the wine maker of Cerutti, Gianmario and Anita for a special Piedmont wine dinner.
What's noteworthy about Cercutti is that it is a producer who can potentially make wine in all three of Asti's important DOCGs, despite the fact that it's such a tiny family owned winery.
His sparkling wine will be soon released as "Alta Langa", which is a luxury sparkling wine producing area, second to Franciacorta. He has his vineyards in Canelli, the most important area in Moscato d'Asti DOCG. Lastly his red wine, Barbera d'Asti, will be a part of Nizza DOCG in the future.
Currently (and surely future),Cerutti produces exceptional wines at very attractive prices, for such a level of quality and individuality.
Gianmario is a professional of sparkling wine and also consults for other wineries. His wife Anita is a sommelier who works in her family run Enoteca di Canelli restaurant. This is sure to be a wonderful evening with this magical couple.
The venue is "Quindi" which has attracted attention of Italian food lovers since its opening in March this year. It has the concept of being part restaurant, part grocery store, merging Japan with Italy, where you can enjoy products from carefully selected producers. With the evening prepared by Chef Ando, and sommelier Konta, both with a strong background in the food of Italy, and Piedmont specifically, there will be a special Piedmont menu designed to match with 5 wines.
